The Doberman Pinscher is a wonderful home companion --- friendly and loyal, yet protective of his people and property. Best friends with his family, his "kids," and their friends. He doesn't have a swooping tail that cleans off coffee tables. The short sleek coat requires little maintenance. The Doberman is athletic, compact, alert, loyal, obedient.

We presently have no puppies
available, but we do offer 40+ years of experience and we are willing to provide
you information to guide you to selecting a healthy, happy Doberman puppy with
correct breed type.
We do plan a litter next spring out of GCH. Mistel's Anything You Can Do shown
above. We breed primarily for show competitors, so the best puppies
will be placed in homes that agree to have the puppy shown when of proper age.
Others will be placed in homes that will participate in performance events such
as Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking, or Working Dog Sport.
This site includes information on how to choose a Doberman breeder, how to buy a Doberman puppy, as well as consideration regarding Doberman health issues, correct Doberman temperament, and socializing Doberman puppies. There is also the official AKC standard for the Doberman breed, detailed information on proper gait and head, as well as other information.
We provide our breeding philosophy and credentials, photos of our champion and obedience titled Dobermans, and other information relating to the breed.
We have Doberman Pinscher puppies available occasionally, but we are not mass producers of Doberman puppies. We breed a litter only when we want an AKC show competitor for our own purposes (every year or two). We are Doberman breeders dedicated to breeding and showing our homebred Dobermans to earn their championships and obedience titles. Our other Doberman puppies are placed in show, obedience, or companion homes. To date they have had 25 Doberman Champions and many others that have earned championship points and performance titles.
Our Doberman puppies are bred to the Mistel Breeding Principles which includes correct breed type, temperament, and health. These principles are described in detail on this website.
Beware in searching for dogs on the internet. Anyone can publish a fancy site. Check the person's credentials and that these credentials can be verified.

Chairman for the DPCA Judge's Education Committee for several years
President of Doberman Pinscher Club of Houston (and many other offices in this club)
President of the Greenville (SC) Kennel Club
Current Show Chair and Cluster Chair for the Greenville Kennel Club and the Foothill Classic Dog Show Cluster (among the largest dog shows on the east coast) for ten years

Officer of the Carolina Dog Judges Study Group
AKC approved Judge of Dobermans as well as all working, sporting , and 9 herding breeds
